Click to play video I purchased this as a gift for my daughter’s first Christmas, with the hope that in a sea of toys that ultimately would be donated at some point, we would have a gift for her that would be lasting. I purchased one, then because I was dissatisfied, received a replacement. This review is about two of this same product. I can summarize the flaws on both because both items were flawed in similar ways. The sticks on the horses are bent out of place and not easily fixed as I tried to do on the first carousel I received. There is strange, misaligned seams, and discoloration at the seams in several places like as the top and bottom of the main pole in the center, and where the outer ring comes together at the tent. The second carousel I received is worse because once the music stops and in it’s resting position, it easily spins the wrong direction. The base is super unstable and wobbly. If it weren’t for these severe quality issues, this would be a beautiful product. I’m disappointed that it’s not the lasting gift for baby’s 1st Christmas I’d hoped for. It really is beautiful and the music is so lovely. There are just too many small defects that really add up to surmounting disappointment; it’s tragic because it is such a stunning design that was seemingly executed poorly in production.

Came out of box broken, extremely disatisfied. Shouldnt be on me to have to work to send it back for a refund
